Artist Sujit Das makes it to Guinness Book of Records

GAON, March 30: Assamese children comic series Rangmon arist Sujit Das has entered the Guinness Book of World Record with a portrait of of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha which he painted with a 28-foot long and 22 kg weight painting brush at gaon Government Boys Higher Secondary School in 2012. It was declared and enclosed in details in page no 94 out of 255 pages of the Guinness book, 2015. Artist Das had painted the portrait on 6x4 feet canvas in 2012. In connection with this record the headquarter of Guinness World Record in London had sent a certificate as acknowledgement. Earlier Romanian artist Primaria Munichipului had entered the Guinness world record with a painting painted with a 14.3- foot brush .
