Aruchal Civil Society terms imposition of President rule as irratiol

FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT

Itagar, Jan 29: The Aruchal Civil Society (ACS) on Thursday termed imposition of President Rule in the state as ‘irratiol’ and questioned the BJP-led NDA government the validity to invoke Article 356 in the peaceful state at a time when several cases relating to the political crisis are sub-judiced in the Apex Court.

“The Centre has no guts in dealing with Chi in the contentious stapled visa issues but can impose President Rule for gaining political mileage and putting unnecessary burden on the general public,” ACS chairman Patey Tayum said in a statement.

He criticized Prime Minister rendra Modi who failed to fast track the stapled visa issue when Chi had physically encroaching the territory Aruchal.

“The Centre has made Aruchal a terrorist state by imposing AFSPA in April, 2015 and now by imposing the Central Rule,” he rued.
