Aruchal Festival of Speed begins on April 7

GUWAHATI, April 4: The second edition of the JK Tyres Aruchal Festival of speed will be held at picturesque Dirang Valley in Aruchal Pradesh from April 7-9. The event will be jointly organized by JK Tyres, Motorsports club of Aruchal (MSCA) and Aruchal Pradesh Government. Several top drivers of the country like defending champion and Asia Pacific Rally winner Gaurav Gill, Sunny Sidhu, Philippos Matthai and Gaurav Chirpal already confirmed their participation in the event. Addressing a media gathering in the Guwahati Press Club Sanjay Sharma, Head-Motorsport, J K Tyre and Industries Limited, said," JK tyre is promoting motorsports in the North East through events like the galand Hornbill Rally, Himalayan Drive and Aruchal Festival of Speed. These events provide us to bring out the best of the local talents" Spread over three days, the meet will get to witness the best of the motorsports action in the form of Autocross, Rally Spring and Rally Hill climb. Around 60 drivers from across the country, including 32 from the North East, will head to Dirang Valley to compete in this event. The media briefing was also attended by Lhakpa Tsering, president MSCA, and former tiol champion driver Amanpreet Ahluwalia.
