Aruchal gets two additiol plots in tiol Capital

Itagar, June 4: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has allotted two plots to Aruchal Pradesh for construction of Aruchal Sadan and Aruchal Niwas at Dheerpur in North Delhi and at Dwarka in South-West Delhi. The land for construction of two annexes to the Aruchal Bhawan was made available following an earlier request from Chief Minister Kalikho Pul during a meeting with Lieutent Governor of Delhi jeeb Jung, who also heads the DDA, on May 6 last.

Pul accompanied by Yachuli MLA Likha Saya and a group of officials inspected the sites on Friday, an official communiqué informed.

The chief minister during the visit informed that the two projects would be taken up on mission mode and urged the DDA officials and the Delhi government to ensure necessary guidance and cooperation for the project. The DDA officials assured their full cooperation and support to accomplish these projects within stipulated time.

The project when completed would benefit students from poor family background who are uble to afford decent accommodation in the tiol capital.

"It will also benefit aspirants of civil services and other competitive examitions for their accommodation in New Delhi for better access to good coaching institutes," Pul said. The chief minister said that several aspirants from poor economical background had to abandon their preparatory studies midway, as they could not afford cost of living in the tiol capital. Pul said the guest house would be of help for patients coming to New Delhi for seeking advanced and specialized medical care.

"Officials of the Aruchal government have to visit New Delhi regularly to attend development meetings, semirs, workshops and for follow up of government programmes. In absence of adequate accommodation in the tiol capital, several officials had to find accommodations in the hotels," the chief minister pointed out. "The new guesthouse will be equipped with proper reception cum information centre and lodging facilities with Wi-Fi connectivity, library, canteen, ATM facilities, conference halls, cafeteria, health club and 24-hours facilities of water and electricity," he added.
