Arunachal: Mother Vision’s Awareness Campaign against Drugs

Itanagar: West Siang district based Mothers’ Vision, an NGO struggling for addiction free society in collaboration with Arunachal Pradesh Police, is carrying out a firsthand input on drug problems and substances abuse with the theme “coming first.”

The first-hand session will cover all schools and colleges in the district with an objective of coming first on the minds of an upcoming generation about the ugly consequences of drug and substances abuses among the misguided youths and an effort to bring them back on track.

The department of education is also seriously involved and cooperating the NGO to make it a vibrant movement everywhere, an official release informed here on Thursday. To start with, the NGO has covered Pakam Secondary and started the camp at ITBP School on Thursday. Mother’s Vision Chairperson Jumde Yomgam Gamlin and resource person Kennedy Bagra is spearheading the movement, the release added.
