Arunachal : Multipurpose hall inaugurated at Dem Village

ITANAGAR: Local MLA of 16 Yachuli constituency and Parliamentary Secretary for Transport Likha Saaya on Saturday attended the first ever development meeting of the Dem village and inauguration of the Jubilee multi-purpose hall on Saturday.

Addressing the gathering on the day as chief guest Likha Saaya congratulated the villagers on first multipurpose hall for which he requested to use it properly for positive purposes and maintain cleanliness. He told that the vision of his to provide better educational, good medical facilities and better living standard to the villagers. He added that, the highest development schemes were brought for the people of Dem village but due to the untimely government changes last year it could not be implemented. "Being a political representative of the Yachuli constituency it's my priority to work for the people as it's my job," Saaya added.

Replying to the query of village church deacon Khoda Pitor on RSS ideology on Anti Christian, Saaya told that being a leader of a secular country the State government will never take such decision where brother and sister of Christian community to be affected. "Don't mix religion, politics, tribe and region in any kind of developmental work in the constituency and state as a whole," he said.

"RSS is a platform where people from different religions participate to accept the ideology of humanity. As BJP is a party platform where people of every religion work together for the development of the country on various stature," he added. Speaking on TAH land compensation scam, he said people will blame but in the end the truth will reveal and it did as the people indulged in the scam have been arrested. He advised villagers not to believe on rumors right away and be patience till the truth is revealed.

A two point memorandum was submitted on the day by the Organizing chairman of the programme Likha Ajay for the land and infrastructure development of government middle school, Dem and construction CC pavement from BRTF road to Dem general ground. Saaya told that around 1.5 crore has been earmarked for the infrastructure and school development under the Samastra Sikhsa Abhiyaan (SSA) and which will be soon released by the State government.
