Arunachal Pradesh Government inks MoU with Helping Hands

Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh Government on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with noted New Delhi-based NGO Helping Hands to sponsor bonafide state ST students under Chief Minister’s Combined Civil Service Coaching Scheme to provide institutional support through its M/s Alternative Learning System Ltd (ALS) by setting up of a centre for civil service career guidance here.

State Education Minister Honchun Ngandam said that though the state youths have off late been doing well in various national competitive examinations, but the MoU intends to give the aspirants the much-desired guidance for more of them to crack such examinations.

“This could be possible with the support of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, who wants the state youth to carve a niche for themselves in national competitive canvas,” he said.

State higher & technical education director Dr TayekTalominked the MoU on behalf of the state government while, HabungLapung on behalf of Helping Hands and Prateek Bhattacharjee as representative of ALS signed the tripartite agreement in presence Ngandam and senior state government officers.
