Arunachal Pradesh: Kra-Daadi conducts first Jan Sunwai Sammelan

ITANAGAR: The first Jan Sunwai Sammelan (JSS), organized by Kra-Daadi district administration to facilitate services to the people under ‘Prashashan Aapke Dwaar’ was inaugurated by DC Pige Ligu at Palin general ground on Monday.

As prompt service delivery to the citizens is the main objective of the JSS and the event witnessed participation of a large number of people from different corners of the district.

During the programme, various services such as issuance of 117 ST certificates, 145 PRC, 97 birth certificates along with renewal and issuance of forms for ILP, arms license, trading license, driving license, vehicle registration, Aadhar enrollment etc were carried out by general administration. Other line departments also took active part in the programme. LPG kits were distributed to 85 beneficiaries under Pradham Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Subsidized LED appliances were also sold by APEDA.

Works such as issuance, correction and updation of job cards, account no and Aadhar updation were carried out by DRDA. Distribution of Soil Health cards, APMC license and free fish seeds, registration in HORTNET, treatment and vaccination of animals etc were carried out by Agri and allied departments.

Further, medical department conducted a health camp and examined 621 patients and gave treatment for hypertension, diarrhoea, fever, diabetes etc. They also issued food license and conducted check up and test for blood pressure, blood group, RDT, sugar and haemoglobin. Arunachal Pradesh Education department distributed textbooks, conducted smart class and gave awareness on CM’s flagship programmes and provided career counselling. ICDS issued forms for old-age pension, widow pension, disability pension and PM Mantru Vandana Yojana. Forwarding of candidates for ITI, PMEGP and CM Capital Incentive Schemes were carried out by the department of Industries. The Bank distributed forms for pension and insurance schemes.
