Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) accused of copy pasting questions

Itanagar: Few candidates of Geography stream who appeared the recently held APPSC-CE examination have alleged the Commission of copying 68 questions from PG level UGC NET 2014, incorrect question in Set A and statics in Geography optional.

The APPSC clearly mentioned in its prospectus that the standard and syllabus of subject will be of graduate level.Since 68 questions were directly copy pasted in a sequential manner from a single source of UGC NET 2014, Geography, it can be highly argued that there is possibility of leakage of the paper, the candidates opined.

Whereas some candidates were demanding withholding the preliminary exam result, the department has already declared the results where 1263 were selected for the mains exam. On Friday, around 20 candidates met the APPSC secretary Taru Talo claiming that few candidates who have secured only around 150 marks have been selected. However, a few who have secured over 200 have been not notified for the mains exam.
