Arunachal Vikas Parishad to Celebrate Silver Jubilee

ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Vikas Parishad (AVP) which is a socio–cultural organization will be celebrating its 25 glorious years of selfless service to the people of Arunachal Pradesh from January 13 to 14, 2019. AVP is a socio–cultural organization with a motive and a mission for the development of state since 1993, founded by Golgi Bote Talom Rukbo.

Addressing the reporters here at press club, AVP president Techi Gubin said that the silver jubilee celebration will also include the annual conference of the organization. He informed that Governor of Arunachal Pradesh B. D Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu will be attending the programme as special invites. “It will be a sammelan of 1000 delegates which will include state level managing committee and state level ayam pramukh, District Level Committees (DLC’s), President, Secretary from other active members of Circle Level Committees (CLC’s) and other full time and part time vistarak workers,” Gubin said. Gubin also highlighted the agenda of AVP such as Socio -cultural development, promotion of elementary education in the rural areas of the state, supporting primary health care programmes, promotion of rural sports and indigenous culture, women empowerment, strengthening patriotic feeling among the new generation and many more.

“AVP have made a point in making the programme to be a strong weapon to find out their loop holes, their weaknesses, make a concrete plans and share, interact between the old members and the new members of the Parishad in order imbibe enthusiasm towards making a vibrant Arunachal Pradesh,” Gubin added.

Meanwhile, AVP general secretary Gyati Rana highlighted about the connection the organization have made.

“AVP has worked on the establishment of Middle school, Primary School, Balwadis, Bal Vikas Kendra, Libraries, Tailoring centers, computer centers, and Medical centers, Shraddha Jagran Kendra’s in the various district and village levels,” Rana said adding that AVP have till now reached out to 2700 villages.
