Aruvhal Government to create 825 posts in health sector

Itagar, Dec 31: The year 2016 is all set to bring smile for the people of the state with the state government deciding to create and fill 825 posts under various cadres in the health department. Health Commissioner B Siram stated that the recruitment process is expected to be completed within six months, an official report informed here today. “The health security of the state, in view of the zero tolerance policy in this sector will be translated into reality in the coming year. The state government that has always prioritized healthcare as the prime attention area is always taking steps to strengthen the institutiol mechanism for healthcare delivery to maximize the outreach of healthcare services to every nook and corner of the state,” the report said. The various posts to be created under the health department include, specialist doctors (101 posts), Medical officer (Allopathy) 65 posts, MO Homeopathy (5 posts), MO (Ayurvedic) five posts, Biomedical Instrumentation Engineer (2 posts), Physiotherapist (7 posts), staff nurse (256 posts), ANM (150 posts), Drug Inspector (11posts), Radiographer (6 posts), Laboratory Technician (34 posts), Blood Bank Technician (12 posts), ECG Technician (3 posts), OT Technician (18 posts) and Multi-Purpose Workers (MPW) 150 posts, the report added.
