Asom Everest Expedition team flagged off

GUWAHATI, March 25: Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today flagged off 11-member team for the Asom Everest Expedition, 2015. The event, organized by Assam Mountaineering Association, was held at the at the NEDFi auditorium here today during a certificate and badges distribution ceremony.The 11 member team, lead by Mash Barooah, will leave Guwahati on April 3 for the expedition. The expedition is organised by the Asom Everest Expedition Organising Committee of the Assam Mountaineering Association. Jagadish Basumatary and Upen Chakraborty have been appointed deputy leaders of the team. The other members are Pray Bordoloi, Henry David Teran, Parag Kumar Das,  nda Dulal Das, Biplab Saharia, Khorsing Terang, Sailen Das and Amar Jyoti Deka.  Sailen and Amar Jyoti will assist the team as base camp magers.
