Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) Meet on National Register of Citizens (NRC) Final Draft Publication

GUWAHATI, July 26: A meeting between the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) Legislature Party and senior AGP leaders held at Assembly Secretariat here on Thursday decided to maintain a close watch on post complete draft NRC publication scenario in the State. The meeting also decided that the AGP will continue its protest against Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 even after publication of the NRC. The party also explored the possibility of fighting the ensuing panchayat polls alone.
