MORIGAON, July 26: Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) has geared up for the upcoming panchayat polls to be held this year end. To gather the support of the youth, a workshop was organized on Thursday by the Morigaon, Nagaon and Hojai district committees of Yuba Parishad at Morigaon District Library where State Water Resources Minister Keshab Mahanta directed the workers to go to the panchayats in order to reach out to as many people as possible for their support. He also said that to get public support, the party must find dedicated youths for strengthening the party.

Agriculture Minister Atul Bora said, “The future of the party always depends on grassroots workers. Our party may be like a weak bridge but nobody can make breaches in our unity.” The meeting was also attended by Phani Bhusan Choudhary and Dr. Kamala Kalita.
