Aspire Junior College in Udalguri, Assam Observes Second Foundation Day

UDALGURI, July 31: Aspire Junior College, Udalguri, observed its second foundation day and also organized the first convocation ceremony. In the beginning of the programme, Maihursa Boro, the Principal of the college, hoisted the flag which was followed by lighting of the lamp. The students of the college presented welcome song and the official website of Aspire Junior College was launched. An MoU was signed to launch a web portal ‘Aspire Next’ to facilitate online skill development courses, between the YPM Education Society, NE8x and KAYZEY Society, Shillong.

Aspire Junior College conferred the Aspire Achievers Award 2018 to Nar Bahadur Chhetry, Upama Devi and Sanjiv Sutradhar and the YPM Society will deposit Rs 18,500 in the bank account of each of the three students for three years. Bikram Newar and Suman Nath received Rs 5,000 cash award. The amount also will be deposited in the bank. Another student Alsine Swargiary was also awarded on the occasion. The faculty members were also rewarded by the management of YPM Society.
