Assam beat Jharkhand in Women U-23

GUWAHATI, Feb 8: Assam defeated Jharkhand by two wickets in the East Zone Womens U-23 Zol One Day League cricket match in Cuttack today. Jharkhand, elected to bat, scored 169/7 in their 50 overs. Anita Lodhi collected 4-27 while Priyanka (41) and Rasmi (38) were the major contributors for Jharkhand. In reply, Assam reached the target in 49.5 overs losing eight wickets. Rekharani Bora (35) was the top scorer. Rajni Lodhi and Anita Lodhi contributed 33 runs each in the scoreboard.
