Assam bow out from Santosh Trophy

GUWAHATI, March 6:  Assam bowed out from the 69th Santosh Trophy Soccer championship losing their third game against Services by 0-3 at Ludhia today. It was the third straight defeat for Assam. Services played much better than Assam and domited most part of the game. The match was 11 minutes old when Services took lead through P Jain. The side pumped in two more goals in the second half. Both the goals were scored by Arjun Tudu in 48 and 54 minutes of the match. It may be mentioned here that Assam earlier lost to Punjab and Bengal in their first two games. The side will face Maharastra in the last game on Sunday.
