Assam clinch senior mixed team title at North East Zone Inter-State Badminton Championship

GUWAHATI: Yonex Sunrise North East Zone Inter-State Badminton Championship held at Dimapur concluded today. In the Senior Mixed Team Championship Assam emerged champion and Manipur finished as Runner-up.

In the Junior mixed team category, Manipur bagged the title while Assam ended the competition staying in the second spot.

The winners in the team Championship are qulified for the Senior National and Junior National Badminton Championship respectively. The finals and the closing ceremony was graced by the Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphu Rio and Secretary ( Events) BAI Omar Rashid.
