Assam face Mizoram in T Ao semis today

GUWAHATI, April 27: Both the semi fils of the T Ao Soccer championship will be held at the Indira Gandhi Athletic stadium tomorrow. In the first semi fil Manipur will face galand and the game will kick off at 3 in the afternoon. Assam will face Mizoram in the other semi fil which is scheduled to begin at 6-45 in the evening.

Assam marched into the semi fil collecting 6 points from group 'A'. The side won against Sikkim and Aruchal Pradesh but lost to galand in the group stage. The host camp is very much optimistic that they would earn a berth in the fil. Talking to The Sentinel the assistant coach Kamala Kanta Singh said that the team is ready for the semi fil. "In the group stage we although lost one tie against galand but over all our performance were very good. We could even win against galand also unless our boy didn't waste too many opportunities," said Singh.

At present there is no card or injury related problem in the team. Replying a quarry Singh said," all the boys, except Thomson Langthasa, are fit for tomorrows match. Thomson got hurt during second game and is now recovering from his injuries,"
