Assam face Sikkim in T Ao opener

GUWAHATI, April 18: 6th edition of the T Ao Soccer championship will kick off at the Sarusajai stadium tomorrow. Host Assam will face Sikkim in the iugural match of the championship which will be held under flood light.

This year all eight North East states are taking part in the tourment and it will be held in two separate venues. Silchar is the other venue of the meet and the city will host the matches of group 'B'.

Host Assam are placed in group 'A' along with galand, Sikkim and Aruchal Pradesh. The other teams who will be seen in action at Silchar are Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram and Meghalaya. Silchar leg will start on Tuesday.

Meanwhile it was decided that the entry will be free for all other galleries except VIP. However the prices of VIP gallery tickets will be Rs 200.
