Assam fail to take lead

GUWAHATI, Jan 10: Uttar Pradesh came back strongly in the VM trophy match against Assam and earned vital 22 runs lead in the first innings in Bengaluru on Sunday. In reply to Uttar Pradesh’s first innings total of 150, Assam who were 70-3 at stumps yesterday, were bowled out 128 runs. Riyan Parag Das (63) was the top scorer.Uttar Pradesh finished the second day’s play scoring 91-2 in their second innings.
