Assam Government provides monetary aid to senior journalists

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government on Thursday offered financial assistance to journalists Anil Barua and Jadu Kakoti for treatment. Monetary assistance was offered under the Journalists’ Welfare Medical Fund (JWMF). The funds were delivered at their homes by OSD to IPR Department Rajib Prakash Barua and DIPR official Samir Sandilya.
