Assam Government transfers Police Officials

GUWAHATI: As per a notification issued by the Home (A) Department of the Assam Government on October 25, Pallav Bhattacharjee, Special Director General of Police (SB) Assam, Guwahati has been transferred and posted as DG (CD & HG), Assam. He will take over charge of DG (CD & HG), Assam from AP Rout who will retire on superannuation on October 31. Vide the notification, Pallav Bhattacharjee is allowed to hold charge of SB until further orders. Vide the same notification, AK Jha, Special Director General of Police (CID), Assam, Guwahati is allowed to hold the post of Special Director General of Police (CID), Assam in level 16 of the pay matrix with effect from November 1.
