Assam Police Official Parthasarathi Mahanta to be conferred President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service

Guwahati: In yet another feather is added to the crown of Assam Police, Kamrup Superintendent of Police, Parthasarathi Mahanta will be awarded the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service. The official announcement will be made on the occasion of Independence Day.

Parthasarathi Mahanta IPS, currently serving as Superintendent of Police, Kamrup has been conferred President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service on occasion of the Independence Day 2018, as announced by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.

SP Mahanta has been chosen for the prestigious award for his effective controlling of crime in the district and maintaining law and order. He is a champion of the cause of police- public relations and has been relentlessly working towards bridging the gap between police and public.

He has been delivering meritorious Service service to the society while creating smooth communication between the police department and the public throughout the district.
