Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Ripun Bora campaigns in Gossaigaon

Gossaigaon: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Ripun Bora campaigned for the 5-Kokrajhar constituency Congress candidate Sabda Ram Rabha at Telipara playground in Gossaigaon subdivision on Wednesday. He said that if the Congress came to power, poor families would get Rs 6,000 per month. He also assured that Congress was against the CAB and would fight for the rights of the tea communities.

APCC member and former EM BTC, Chrisostom Tudu, Kokrajhar District Congress president Bimal Mondol, BTC Guma MCLA, Mominur Islam, along with thousands of supporters and workers were present during the meeting. On the other hand, two former ministers Prithivi Majhi and Paban Singh Ghatowar visited Mornai Tea Estate of Gossaigaon subdivision and met tea labourers.
