Assam-Saurashtra Ranji semis begins today

By our Sports Reporter

GUWAHATI, Feb 12; It has been a fairy tale run so far for Assam in this year’s Ranji trophy championship and they will try to continue it when  the team will face Saurashtra in the semi fils at Moti Baug stadium, Vadodara from tomorrow. The side already created history by entering into the last four of the tourment and it will be their maiden appearance in the semi fil.

The pitch of Moti Baug stadium is expected to help a lot to the bowlers and if it happens than Assam will definitely get an edge over their opponent as two pacers of the side Krish Das and Arup Das are in good form and consistently performing in every matches of the tourment. Saurashtra will miss the service of one of their key player Ravindra Jadeja who is doing duty for the country. However they have few good players in the team which included Jaydev Udkat and Cheteshwar Pujara.
