Assam shines in UPSC

GUWAHATI, April 27: Encouraging the future aspirants, a sizable number of candidates from Assam alone have cracked the UPSC Civil Services Examinations, 2017 with flying colours. As many as 13 candidates have cleared the prestigious examinations. As per the results, Bipasha Kalita (Rank-41), Swapnanil Paul (64), Mrigakhi Deka (126), Aryanak Saikia (148), Purna Bora (149), Nahar Pranoy Prakash (199), Manalika Borgohain (230), Mamoni Doley (593), Subhajit Bhuyan (645), Partha Pratim Das (738), Manoj Swargiary (795),  Deepjoy Das (855) and Jasudhara Das (894) have cracked the UPSC. Appreciations from across the society are poured onto them highly overwhelmed by the distinction earned by the deserving entrants of the State. 

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal congratulated successful candidates from Assam. In an official communiqué, the Chief Minister said, “People of Assam are proud of your achievement, and on behalf of the people and on my behalf; I convey my heartiest congratulations to you all. Your results will motivate other youths of the State to take Civil Services Examination in right earnest”. He also expressed his best wishes for all the future endeavour of the successful candidates.
