Assam State Electricity Board Sports club lift ‘B’ Division title

GUWAHATI: Assam State Electricity Board Sports club (ASEBSC) emerged champion in the GSA ‘B’ Division Cricket League held at the Latasil ground here today. In the final the side defeated Chandmari Sports Club by 2 wickets.

Invited to bat Chandmari Sports Club were bowled out 128 in 22.4 overs. Manas Sarma and Subrata Dey bagged four wickets each. In reply ASEBSC reached the target in 22.1 overs losing eight wickets. Sankuman Mahanta (59) scored half century.
