Assam's Hima Das-Led Women's 4 x 400m Relay Team Wins Gold Medal at Asian Games 2018

New Delhi: In yet another unbelievable feat for India, the Hima Das led women's 4 X 400m Relay event has won the Gold medal at the ongoing 2018 Asian Games.

With this achievement, it is India's second gold medal for the day. Earlier, after a long, long wait on Day 12 of Jakarta Palembang 2018 Asian Games, Jinson Johnson brought a proud smile on every Indian’s face with a gold medal-winning performance. India’s medal tally now stands at 58, with 13 gold, 20 silver, and 25 bronze medals.

It may be mentioned that India’s Manjit Singh missed the bronze medal by a whisker in the same event.

With Hima Das-Led Women's 4x400m Relay Team Winning Gold at the Asian Games, the Medal Tally reaches to 58 in Current Table and Country-Wise Medal Standings.
