Assam’s social icons honoured

Guwahati, Feb 5: GNRC Sixmile observed the 9th anniversary of its establishment and caring for the community at the campus on Sunday. To commemorate the occasion, GNRC Hospitals honoured two social icons of Assam, to recognize their contribution to Assamese culture and society. Nirupama Borgohain, eminent novelist and jourlist and Dr. Nirmal Kumar Choudhury, former Director of Technical Education and former Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University were felicitated during the event.  Speaking on the occasion, Satabdee Borah, Chief Executive Officer, GNRC Hospitals, Sixmile said: “It is our honour to recognize these icons and express our gratitude to them for their significant contribution to the society. As a token of gratitude for their contribution to the society, GNRC will bear their healthcare expenses for their lifetime.” GNRC also felicitated best employees of the hospital. Concluding the event, Borah said: “I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my colleagues, media in Assam and every member of the community in helping us progress towards our vision – Health for All, Smiles for All. The milestone would not have been possible without the continuous efforts and dedication shown by entire GNRC family.” This was stated in a press release.
