Assembly polls: KHM mes Moses Kharbithai from Mawryngkneng

SHILLONG, July 30: The Khun Hynniewtrep tiol Awakening Movement (KHM) has announced the me of Dr Moses Kharbithai for the upcoming 2018 Assembly polls from 13th Mawryngkneng constituency.

The me of the candidate was filized at the party office here in a meeting.

James M Neng, publicity secretary of KHM, on Sunday informed that the party took the decision to announce the me of Kharbithai after another ticket aspirant Ymlahklet Khonglah withdrew his application for a party ticket to facilitate Kharbithai to contest the 2018 polls.

It may be mentioned that till date the party has announced the mes of four candidates to contest the Assembly polls in 2018.

These candidates includes working president of the party, Adelbert Nongrum from 17th North Shillong constituency, Ban L Nongbri from Mawlai,  Zaachari  Shadap from Mawhati and now Dr Moses Kharbithai from 13th Mawryngkneng constituency. “The party is still in discussion over filing candidates in other constituencies and we will announce their mes once the party finds quality leaders to represent us in the upcoming elections,” Neng said.
