ASTC bus service starts from gaon to Batadrava shrine

gaon, July 20: The ASTC has started bus service to Batadrava shrine from gaon town. The service will be available from the ASTC station in gaon. There will be two buses, first will be at 8.30 am and the second at 11 am. ASTC sources said that the number of buses would be increase in future. gaon Deputy Commissioner  (DC) Malisha Goswami flagged off the first bus service on Monday morning. A function was held onthe occasion. Addressing the gathering, the DC said that the bus service would facilitate the pilgrims who come from the distant places. The Xatradhikar of rowa Xatra, Debanda Deva Goswami, chief secretary of Asom Xatra Mahasabha, Jibeswar Debagoswami, actors Gyanda Bora, Gu Mahanta and ASTC divisiol superintendent Lokth Das were present. The function was conducted by general secretary of the Batadrava Shrine Committee, Brajen Kakati.
