ATASU ojan Branch Committee formed

DEMOW, May 11: Under the patroge of All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU), Nitaiphukhuri Regiol Committee, a general meeting was held in Nitaiphukhuri ojan Primary School recently regarding the issues concerning Tai language and culture, ST status to the six ethnic communities, various problems of Assam along with various problems of Nitai Panidehing. Under the initiative of Chao Sunit Phulkonwar, president of All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU), Nitaiphukhuri Regiol Committee, the meeting was organized and the meeting was presided over by Upen Chetia. In the meeting ATASU ojan Branch Committee was formed. Chao Netra Kamal Handique was selected as president, Chao Bhaskar Konwar was selected as working president, and yandeep Changmai was selected as secretary of the 31-member committee.
