DEMOW, Nov 23: Under the patroge of All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU) Demow Regiol Committee and with the help of people, Lachit Divas will be observed in Demow Chariali on Friday evening. A candlelight programme will be organized where the ATASU, Demow Regiol Committee will pay tribute by lighting candles before Bir Lachit Borphukan’s portrait.
