ATASU warns micro fince companies

GOLAGHAT, Dec 29: Micro fince companies like Ujjiwan, Bandhan, Arohan are mentally harassing the rural Assamese women, alleged the All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU) Golaghat District Committee.  The organization has alleged that the micro fince companies are offering loans to women to set up self help groups in rural areas and the agents of these companies are allegedly harassing rural women in the me of loan interest and installment. The ATASU has warned these companies to do business in a proper manner and to respect the women of Assam. Also the organization has appealed to the Golaghat district administration to keep an eye on the business of the micro fince companies.
