Atletico back in training, goelie Oblak works out alone

Madrid, May 5: Capital football club Atletico Madrid returned to training on Thursday after qualifying to the UEFA Champions league fil.

All available players joined the training session, except for Slovenian goalkeeper Jan Oblak who trained indoors after taking a blow during the second leg of the Champions League semi-fil against Bayern Munich on Tuesday at the Allianz Are in the German city, reports Efe.

Oblak, who saved a pelty kick from Bayern forward Thomas Muller and other significant chances, was the only player missing from the group session.

However, it seems that the Slovenian will be ready before the Levante match next Sunday in week 37 of La Liga.

The Rojiblancos trained normally on Thursday, including the Portuguese Tiago Mendes, in an effort to sustain their excellent chances of winning La Liga. Mendes is coming from a knee injury.

French striker Antoine Griezmann could miss the last La Liga match against Celta Vigo on May 15, if he receives another yellow card during Sunday's match. IANS
