Atletico de Kolkata begin pre-season training in Spain

Segovia/Kolkata, Sep 1 : Indian Super League (ISL) champions Atletico de Kolkata (ATK) began their month-long pre-season training at Segovia in Spain, the franchise announced on Tuesday.

The champions of the iugural edition of ISL will train at Los Angeles de San Rafael ground in El Espir before the second season of the tourment begins on October 3.

Atletico de Kolkata will play their first practice match against Gimstica Segovia CF, a Spanish U-19 team on Thursday, the franchise said in a release.

This year ATK have signed Portugal’s Helder Postiga as their marquee player and have roped in Cadian forward Iain Hume from franchise Kerala Blasters to boost their squad. IANS
