Atletico Madrid's stadium to host 2019 Champions League fil

MADRID, Sep 21: Atletico Madrid’s new 68,000 capacity Wanda Metropolitano stadium will host the 2019 Champions League fil, European football’s governing body UEFA announced on Wednesday. As the only other candidate for the fil, Azerbaijani capital Baku receives the 2019 Europa League fil as a consolation for missing out on the main event. Budapest will host the women’s Champions League fil, whilst the UEFA Super Cup between the Champions League and Europa League winners will take place at Besiktas’ Vodafone Park in Istanbul. IANS
