MARGHERITA, July 19: Assam Bihari garik Bikash Manch, Margherita vice-president Md Nurul Huda Ansari, general secretary Ram Hriday Sah (Kanthi) and cultural secretary Ram Jatan Verma have condemned the attack on Hindi-speaking people few days ago at Bijuliban, Pengree. Ram Hriday Sah (Kanthi) said that innocent Hindi-speaking people were killed mercilessly and both the Central and State governments were fully responsible for it. He said that in 2003 too many innocent Hindi-speaking people were killed and now the same thing was happening, which indicated that the both the Central and State governments had an ‘unholy nexus’ and they were silent while Hindi-speaking people were being targeted in Assam. Ram Jatan Verma, said that on July 17 during the protest at Tihu in lbari district by AASU, an innocent child Himangshu Tamuli was allegedly killed by CRPF jawans which indicated that the Central and State governments would not allow people to live in peace. “ We condemn the incident and warn both the Central and State governments to abstrain from such dirty politics else the greater Assamese society will launch an agitation,” said Ram Jatan Verma.
