Cairo, Jan 11: The recent attacks on Saudi Arabia’s mission in Tenran is not the only reason for severing ties with Iran, Foreign Minister Adel Bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir has said. “Saudi Arabia has reached the point of severing its ties with Iran, not only because of the recent attacks on its diplomatic mission in Iran, but also as a culmition of a three-decade experience which witnessed recurring negative acts of support for sectarianism, recruitment of Arab tiols to act against their countries, and training and sending militias to carry violent actions in Arab countries,” Al-Jubeir said on Sunday.

“(The) country will take additiol steps if Iran went ahead with its hostilities and violations against the kingdom,” the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted Al-Jubeir as saying. According to SPA, “he called on Iran to deal with its neighbours in accordance with the principles of good neighbourhood, non-interference in others’ interl affairs and rejection of terrorism rather than supporting it”.
