Attempt to loot ATM in Bongaigaon

Bongaingaon, March 25: Attempts were made by miscreants to loot a SBI ATM in Bongaigaon on Tuesday night. Even though they were unsuccessful, severe damage has been caused to the ATM by the miscreants. Sharp reactions were seen in the region on Wednesday because of this incident. The location of this ATM is convenient for people of the region. Police was informed by the residents about the attempt on Wednesday morning. After inspection, the police came to the conclusion that the miscreants failed to steal any money. Some people have also alleged that because of rayan Puja going on in the region, people were gambling which resulted in urgent need of money that could have led to this incident.
