SHILLONG, Aug 19: 358 recruits of 318 batch of the Assam Regimental Centre participated in a magnificent attestation parade on Saturday in a scintillating ceremony conducted at Parsons Parade Ground of Assam Regimental Centre here. The parade was reviewed by Brig Sudhir Kumar Jha, Commandant, Assam Regimental Centre. The parade ground was thronged by parents and relatives of the trainees. A large number of military dignitaries and civilian guests were also present. In his address to the attested young soldiers, the Officer extolled the virtues of selfless service to the tion and recounted the contributions of the Northeast and Assam Regiment towards tion building. Complimenting the passing out batch for their immaculate standards, he exhorted the warriors from the Northeast to persevere in pursuit of excellence.
