Atua Munda's effigy burnt in Demow

DEMOW, Feb  2: The activists of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) Demow Regiol Committee burnt the effigy of State Forest Minister Etuwa Munda on Tuesday in Demow Chariali at NH-37 road in protest against Munda’s alleged failure to save and protect the one-horned rhino of Kaziranga tiol Park. The AJYCP Demow Regiol Committee activists shouted various slogans against the Forest Minister and the State Government. Under the leadership of Krish Hazarika, president and Utpal Dowerah, general secretary of AJYCP Demow Regiol Committee, the protest was carried out.
