Awareness camp held in Demow

DEMOW, July 2: Under the patroge of Demow Police Station, in association with the Peace Committee, which includes senior citizens of Demow area, representatives of different local organizations of Demow ,an awareness camp was organized near the Demow Traffic Point on Friday. The awareness camp was iugurated by ndita Roy Gohain, Demow Circle Officer as well as president of the Peace Committee. The awareness camp was basically organized to make people aware about drug abuse, illicit trafficking and traffic rules. Moni Mohan Koch, OC of Demow Police Station anchored the meeting. After the end of the meeting the Police, Village Defense Party (VDP), Gaonburah, Senior Citizens and local organizations of Demow distributes leaflets and chocolates among the drivers of two wheelers and four wheelers and urged them to follow the traffic rules.
