Awareness camp on child labour

GAON (HAIBORGAON), April 15: The North Eastern Development Council for Human Resource (NEDCHR) recently commenced a day long awareness programme on prohibition and regulation of child labour under Act 1986 at its branch office premises in Golaghat. In a press release, the secretary of the institution Dr. Jayanta Prashad Sarma here stated that in the programme several distinguished persolities like Dr Pulen Chandra Laskar, Advocate Kumkum Mahanta, H Mazhi Rajat Gogoi, Balin Sarma and others delivered lectures on child labour issues.
