Awareness camp on JE

Silchar, May 23: A team of doctors held awareness camps at Banskandie, Gobindapur, Harigar recently to counter the rumour that Japanese Encephalitis vaccition being administrated among the people would lead to develop infertility among them. In order to debunk such illogical dispositions, the awareness camps were held. The State and Monitoring Team comprise Dr Nunisa, joint director, UIP, State, chief consultant, additiol CMO P K Roy and Lakhipur SDMO, Y Kishore Singha.  The team visited many centres and made people understand and realize the value, importance and necessity of taking vaccition against Japanese Encephalitis. The awareness camp at Gobindapur was held at the residence of Maula Sheikh Yahya Yahya.  People have been advised not to lend ears to rumours and to take vaccition against this dreaded disease.
