Awareness meet on AAY scheme held

TAMULPUR, May 26: To curb corruption in the implementation  of AAY scheme, an awareness meeting was held today at the BDO office grijuli Development Block here in Baksa district. The meeting was presided over by BDO Jyotish Kakati. The meeting reviewed about the alleged anomalies in the implementation of AAY scheme. Hundreds of beneficiaries from different villages under grijuli Development Block  participated in the meeting. BDO Kakati briefed the beneficiaries how to draw money from bank in three installments for construction of house under AAY scheme.
