Awareness meet on NRC update

LAKHIMPUR, MARCH 26: For the success of the tiol Register of Citizens (NRC) update process, an awareness meeting was held at the conference hall of the DC office on Thursday.

Taking part in the meeting as a resource person, Dibakar Dale, ADC of Lakhimpur, explained the importance of NRC updation to protect the rights of genuine citizens. The meeting was conducted by Gaurab Brotha, Deputy Commissioner of Lakhimpur, and he urged the people of the district to cooperate so that the NRC update process could be completed on time.

Delegates from various organizations like TMPK, KMSS, AAMSU and AJYCP were also present in the meeting.
