Awareness meeting on development schemes

MORIGAON, May 7: Morigaon district administration in cooperation with Morigaon District Information and Public Relations office organized a public awareness meeting at the DC office’s conference hall on Wednesday on the progress of development schemes like ICDS, SSA and NHM under District Social Welfare, District Elementary Education and Joint Director of Health.

In presence of Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar, the heads of the departments displayed their progress reports before the public. The awareness meeting was attended by Anuradha Adhikari Sarma, ADC, Jayanta Bora, Morigaon Circle Officer, Joint Director of Health, DEO, SSA, CDPOs, BDOs, Inspector of School, Media Expert of NHM, social workers and public.

Earlier, an awareness rally was taken out in Morigaon town under the initiative of Satan Das, CDPO, Bhurbandha. Anganwadi workers and supervisors took part in the rally. The awareness rally was taken out on the eve of the awareness meeting.
