Awareness meeting on witch hunting held

BISWATH CHARIALI, July 22:  Following the recent incident of witch hunting in Bhimajuli, an awareness meeting on witch hunting was held here today. The meeting was graced by SDO civil of Biswath Subdivision Pallav Gopal Jha, SP of Biswatah Police Mabendra Dev Roy, Dibyajyoti Saikia convener of NGO Brothers. The  meeting discussed how superstitious beliefs such as witch hunting can be eradicated with the help of police forces and media. The meeting also alerted the villagers not to be  misled by any such rumors.
